Campground
A parcel or tract of land including buildings or other structures, where five or more campsites are available for temporary or seasonal overnight occupancy.
Children's Camp
Day, traveling, or overnight programs for children with organized group activities occurring indoors or outdoors.
Food Service
A permit is required for businesses engaging in the preparation and serving food to members of the public for the following operations – Institutional Foods, State Office of the Aging Feeding Sites (SOFAs), Restaurants, Mobile Food Units, Vending Machines, Caterers, and Commissaries.
Public Water Supply
A Public Water Supply (PWS) is regulated by the Dutchess County Department of Health and requires a permit to operate. A PWS is a community, noncommunity, or non-transient noncommunity water system, providing water to the public for human consumption, serving an average of at least 25 people for at least 60 days per year.
Swimming Facility
Public areas for swimming such as pools, spas, wading pools, freshwater bathing beaches, and spray pads with recirculated, treated water.
Temporary Food Service
This type of permit is required to prepare and serve food at a temporary special event and, includes preparing and serving food from vending booths, stands, kiosks, vehicles, or carts at temporary events. Application and fee must be submitted at least 7 days prior to operating.
Temporary Residence
A tract or tracts of land and any hotel, motel, cabin colony, building, camping unit, or other structures including worker housing pertinent to its use, maintained primarily for overnight occupancy.
